Skin aging and genetics. It’s complicated: So the creative should be simple.

People think how well their skin ages is all about their genetics. It turns out, they are wrong - but how do you explain these complex topics without losing your audience (or totally baffling them)? Simple: You mix a real, friendly scientist (Dr. Frauke Neuser) and use a see-say practical, in-camera animation approach to make ideas easy to comprehend. The end result? A film that makes a lot of sense, and is fun to boot.

“There are women over 40, who look at least 10 years younger than their actual age, and until now no one could explain it. Why didn’t their faces have lines and wrinkles, like their peers? Was it their lifestyle? Or were they born that way?”

This is the phenomenon we explored in both our film and the Paid Post that highlighted the work, as well as sharing a longer narrative.
